Ebbsfleet Valley, Kent

 

Ebbsfleet Valley is in the borough of Gravesham, in Kent. Ebbsfleet has a long history, however since 2005 the landscape has undergone developments transform the, Ebbsfleet Valley village, new railway and international train station will help to improve transport. By 2010, Ebbsfleet will be an important and major link for Kent, London and Europe, even more so for travel in the 2012 Olympics. The local areas surrounding Ebbsfleet Valley will have lots of parks and lakes for boating or fishing, very typical to this part of Kent. Among the change was the local football team renamed to "Ebbsfleet United".

The map below shows the location of Ebbsfleet Valley near the new Eurostar station; opened 14th November 2007. Domestic services for Ebbsfleet International are due to commence in December 2009. At present, plans for the Crossrail link, will be from Maidenhead, west of London to Abbey Wood and Shenfield east of London in Kent, however a new plan may include an extension to Ebbsfleet. Commuters could interchange at Ebbsfleet for Heathrow, Tottenham Court Road, Paddington and Liverpool Street on this line.

Eurostar train tickets Ebbsfleet | Ebbsfleet International station offers trains to all the various main stations, including Brussels (Belgium), Paris, Avignon, Tours, Nice and Lille in France. Although non direct trains will travel as far as Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Luxemburg!

Ofcom have approved BT's plans to roll-out super-fast broadband infrastructure at Ebbsfleet Valley. BT projected costs to install the new fibre lines is a staggering £1.5bn.


 

Countryside Properties and Land Securities developed the land, now evolving into Ebbsfleet Valley and the first properties will be available at Springhead Park (this year mid - end 2009). On 21st – 22nd March 2009 the gates of Ebbsfleet Valley will be open to first prospective customers looking for new homes and investment property.
